Constructing the air scoop required a wooden prototype, fitting and sanding. It had to nest atop the existing vent grille and be shallow enough for the bonnet to clear when opened. Then a perfect master model was needed for casting our reusable rubber mold. It would be filled with resin and hardener to duplicate the finished product....an air scoop hood to gather wind and limit rain.
